What it does

TagoTiP is an open-source IoT protocol that sends data in a compact, human-readable line format, reducing payloads by up to 3.7x compared to HTTP/JSON. It supports type-safe operators, metadata, units, timestamps, and optional AEAD encryption (TagoTiP(s)) with minimal overhead, working over UDP, TCP, HTTP, MQTT, and more.
